Went and had the catfish basket with a side of coleslaw for lunch today. The coleslaw was great. The catfish was cooked to order. The tea had plenty of lemons. And the bill was surprisingly low. I will be back for more.
David's is always delicious. The catfish and shrimp are always fried just right and not greasy. The slaw is wonderful. The seafood platter is always a large portion of seafood and not just fries. It's a must try.
I was always told by my mother..."never go grocery shopping when you are hungry!" I heeded her word and went by David's catfish Saturday for lunch, I had a shrimp poboy, it was divine!!! I had the turnip greens and cheese Grits with it, and I had to take a little napp in the truck right there in the parking lot!!! The food was fantastic, the service was first rate, and being a disabled veteran, the young lady gave me a 20% discount on our entire meal!! You rarely find a place like that!! I also took home just as much shrimp as I had on my sandwich, they really piled it on! They get a hard 6 out of 5 from me!!!
